Google has teamed up with SDG&E(San Diego Gas & Electric) to bring you the ability to view your electric usage online. By combining the newly installed digital smart meters with Google's new power meter app, customers can see an hourly detail of the previous days energy useage. This is a great step towards a better understanding of our energy usage and as smart meters become more common we should see the spread of this type of technology.
