The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power has recently restructured the electric rates. The restructured electric rates are effective September 19, 2008 for some rate schedules and July 1, 2009 for most rate schedules. It will be revenue neutral for each customer class. It's not to much of a surprise though, if you've been following the news. Electric rates are forecast to continue to rise into the future. If only there was a way to fight back against the utilities and produce your own power at a set rate... Go SOLAR!
